Surprising enough, when I visited Wright State University for the first time, I actually did not like it very much. Nothing about it stood out to me as a place where I could spend four years of my life and obtain the college experience I was looking for. Wright State, however, happened to be like one of those horrific dresses you pass by in the mall and you tell yourself how you will not be caught dead in a dress like that. Throughout the day, you pass by it again and again and find yourself actually kind-a-sort-a liking it and you figure you will try it on just for a few laughs. Then as soon as you put it on and look in the mirror you are absolutely in love with it and can’t imagine your life without it. In a weird way, that most guys probably will not understand, WSU was like that “ugly on the rack, yet beautiful on you” type of dress. So, once I was able to take a step back from my first impression of WSU and look at it from a different angle, I began to envision it being a place where I could further my education as well as get the college experience I so desperately needed. The things I began to love about WSU were not only the academics, but the atmosphere as well. When I walked on the campus It just felt right to me and I could not deny that WSU was the place I needed to be to fulfill my future educational goals as well as my desired college experience.
